On 7 September, Saturday, before the animation master class for the children from the orphanage, a tour of the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh was organised. The rector of the parish, Archpriest Daniel Lugovoy, warmly welcomed the children and gave them a fascinating tour. He told them about the peculiarities of the symbolism of the Orthodox church, the life of St Sergius of Radonezh and basic Orthodox traditions. For the children it was their first visit to an Orthodox church. Its majestic atmosphere and splendour made a deep impression on them, arousing genuine interest and lively enthusiasm.
