On 25 February 2025, Metropolitan Constantine of Zaraisky, Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, held a pastoral meeting in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia.
The meeting was attended by the rector of the Cathedral of St Sergius of Radonezh of the Diocese of South Africa in Johannesburg (South Africa), Archpriest Daniel Lugovoi, interim rector of St Michael the Archangel Parish in Lusaka, and Zambian clerics Priest Barnabas Ntasha and Priest Sylvester Mumbi.
Current issues of parish life were discussed.
Priest Sylvester Mumbi has been appointed as the new dean of parishes of the Archdiocese of South Africa in Zambia.
At the end of the event, the Vladyka presented the priests with memorable gifts.
On the same day, Metropolitan Constantine interviewed Apostolos Musonda, a candidate for ordination to the holy ministry, and blessed him to undergo training under Archpriest Daniel Lugovoy.
